The Olympic and Paralympic Games are a once in a generation state opportunity. They will spotlight Queensland as a premier investment, tourism and talent destination with a projected $4.6 billion boost in international tourism and trade. TIQ is leading the 2032 international trade and investment program, showcasing Queensland’s vast opportunities and fostering global partnerships with local industry. Queensland’s approach to the Games is grounded in economic discipline and long-term value, focused on sustainability, inclusion and regional benefit.

Guided by principles of sustainability, inclusion and long-term value, the 2032 Olympics will deliver the largest infrastructure investment in Queensland’s history and is a landmark opportunity for strategic infrastructure development to drive future growth. It is forecast to generate a $4.6 billion economic increase in trade and tourism by 2042 for Queensland.
